I like them both but the problem is I always play Call of duty online more. I love the battlefield games cause online is usually more spread out so I can get a sniper class and do work but I always end up playing call of duty online in the end. I like both story modes on the games but my fav story mode in a war game was the newest medal of honor. So I am gonna say MW3 for now until I get bored with it then I will play Battlefield...... Then probably MW3 again.

Probably going to depend on your taste in shooters. BF typically is slower paced and more team oriented in play. COD is a MUCH faster paced game, and most game types will allow you to go out and do the lone-wolf thing and still be successful. You try doing that in BF and more often than not, you'll get your a$$ handed to ya. IMO at least. :bigthumb
I like and play both games. I play the COD series more mostly because it's what most of my friends I play with are playing.

MW3 for Campaign. Its online on the other hand has many fans disappointed per forums and the Metacritic (http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-3)
BF3 Campaign is good but its online is magnificent. So many options in BF3 multiplayer.

I love to run and gun so MW3 for me. I don't have to much time playing BF3 so I'm not going to say I'm against it but have always been a COD fan.

I thought MW was more geared for online rather than campaign

It definitely is, but its campaigns are actually decent too if you're into that. Especially since MW3 ends the trilogy story.

I just would rather play the campaign and get used to the maps and then tackle the online

Modern warfare raised the bar on this one. I was dissapointed in the last few. But i purchased this one and had flashbacks of when the first one came out. They did a hell of a job on 3.

Really? I've seen more negativity toward MW3 then any in the series so far. I've been very put off by it since it doesn't seem to bring anything new to the series and in fact takes a few steps backwards compared to Black Ops.
The user reviews on the Metacritic (http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-3) are the worst in COD history and the fact that the developer Sledgehammer who did the multiplayer portion is requesting fans to give it a good review so the score gets pumped back up. Well its my opinion. I didnt really like Black ops, I dont think anything can compare to COD4 MW. It seems like after the 1st it goes down hill with alot of things. I think that since Infinity Ward started the game and didnt finish it, between the 4 companies that tried to get it done IMO they did a great job. I like the campaign, Im not much more of a multiplayer player but have played a little bit. They still have spawning issues and overpowered guns. Not to mention I was in a few games that jaugernaut was in a care package, and didnt think it was fair, but oh well. IMO a great game.
