Just looking for some ideas for a rear suspension set up. my car is an 89 GT with a 347 and a 6 speed puts down around 350 ish current set up is tubular k coil overs on all 4 strang 10 ways on all 4 boxed upper and lowers I do have upr adjustable upers i need to install just havent yet. Here's what I'm wanting it to do. Mostly this is a street car with occasional and very occasional at that track duty just for fun. I plan on doing a little road racing running whatever you'd like to call it. I don't want the car to beat me to death on the highway as it rides really nice right now.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

B

I would do:
MM XL Series Full-length Subframe Connectors
MM Strut Tower Brace
MM Panhard Bar with Aluminum Rod
MM Solid Steering Shaft
Also, on the track brakes and tires are your best friends...

Also what spring rates are you currently running?

Before you start pouring money into the car I would suggest getting some track time underneath you. You would be surprised how well a bone stock car can handle! Its all about setting baselines, understanding what your car is doing and improving from there. You can spend a whopping amount of money without improving the biggest issue - the nut the holds the wheel.

Its going to be hard to find a blance between spirited road/track driving, drag, and streetability. What works best for one can really upset the other. Having adjustability (like shocks) will give you the ability to tune for each type of event.

Spend the money getting your torque boxes strengthened and a good set of frame connectors. Then hit the track you may be surprised.

I have full welded subframe connectors torque boxes strengthened I'd say it's going to spend more time on the street and twisties it's far from stock

Try Granetelli Motorsport Tubular uppers and lowers, they have urethane bushings to keep a better road and handling feel than the stocks. Try the Eibach springs with those and you should notice a difference.

Once I get all the stock stuff out of the way I should be able to try some of these things.

Thanks guys don't know what I'd do with out you all.......
