Ok some azzzbaggggg in my neighborhood decided it would be cute to dump antifreeze into my gas tank!!!!!
Went out to put gas in my 93 and opend the gas door and there was floresent green fluid puddled in the gas door!!! I can only assume this is antifreeze. I found this a few weeks ago and didnt think much of it and now I found it again. So my question is should I completely drain the tank and flush it out to get any residue out of it? How will this hurt my motor? I filled it up with 93 octane and changed the plugs but am concerned that the antifreeze is going to keep leaving a "film" on my plugs anf also mess up my injectors an such..........Any opinions on this? I now keep the car LOCKED up in the garage at all times but thankfully its the old combo that will be coming out over the winter anyway but that dosn't change the fact that there are AZZZZBAGGGGS out there that think this kinda shit is funny or are jelous.....
Thanks, Doug

Sorry to hear this Doug. You need to get some good security cameras and catch those phuckers that's messing with your stuff. I've got one of those attack pitbulls that you can borrow and hopefully they're allergic to slobber cause he'll straight lick them to death, lol.

if the injectors can pass it depending on how much is in it it shouldnt hurt anything. it will steam for awhile until its gone.

Id buy a locking gas cap so they cant fuck around with it again.

The problem is that it won't mix with the fuel so when the pump picks it up all it will be pumping is antifreeze. I would try a find a way to pump out the tank without running it through the engine.

You could break the fuel line and pump it into a bucket. That way you don't have to drop the tank.

Unclip the fuel feed line at the rail aim in into a bucket and cycle the key until your empty. Then find the azzbag and give him an anti freeze enema !

I would definately drain the fuel tank.

It really depends on how much they got in there. Like said above, the antifreeze should not mix and you could get a big gulp of it int he system and it could cause the motor to shut off at the most inappropriate time. I don't think it would cause any harm to the motor itself.

If they have put antifreeze in your tank twice, I'd have to ask what else could they have put into it. Because of this I would drain the tank. You can jumper the fuel pump relay instead of constantly cycling your key to keep the pump running and find a good area to disconnect the gas line. This is also a good time to replace your fuel filter.

I'm no expert on 93's but how easy is it to remove the tank once it's drained? just as a precaution, you might want to drop it, remove the sending unit and examine the internals for any loose debris.

It sucks and I'm sorry to hear that someone would do that. I've just found out that my neighborhood has been hit by a rash of car break ins.
