Can anyone tell me what weight oil and how many quarts for a 2002 GT 4.6L?
I have a friend that normally has her man change her oil but they recently split up. So she asked me if I would do it and she is clueless when it comes to cars. So I figured I would stop on my way home to pick some up just need to know what weight and how much.

What he said. Early modulars call for 5W30 but I believe at some point they changed it to 5W20.

The truck 4.6 has 2 possible filters. One metric thread and one standard. Dont know about the stang.

use 5-30,, calls for 5-20 but Ford admits changing the specs due to CAFE crap
