Well this has been a debate but the way i am understanding these tops is that they fit 83-90 and 90-93

83-90 has the plastic slide piece on the cover that fits in the slot of your rear trim. Which is the style boot i have...

Then 90-93 has snaps across the rear trim ..

This was on my 85 and i sold the same style red boot cover to a member and it is currently on his 87..
