I'm putting both of these up for sale, but I'll keep the one that doesn't sell first. Just never seem to have time to drive or enjoy either one. Probably put maybe 40 miles combined on both of these this past year.
1991 SSP - North Carolina "unmarked" car
*Light Crystal Blue w/black interior - looks more like silver than light blue though.
*Interior was changed from blue to black at some point. Whoever changed it over did an outstanding job, you'd never be able to tell.
*Bone stock 5.0 engine w/104,XXX miles from what I can remember.
*Originally an AOD car, but the trans took a dump shortly after I bought it about 7 years ago.
*Converted to 5 speed w/rebuilt T5 and Hurst shifter. Conversion was done right w/correct wiring etc, not a hack job.
*Ford 94/95 Cobra clutch disc & pressure plate
*2.73 rear gear replaced w/FMS 4.10
*BBK H-pipe and Flowmaster cat-back
*NO RUST
*Black 10 holes w/good Dayton 235-60-15 tires
** PRICE $6,200.00** I know it seems high, but rust free coupes are getting impossible to find.
1989 SSP - Nebraska "marked" car
*Originally built by HP Motorsport of Omaha Nebraska in the mid '90's when it came out of service.
*Blue exterior w/black interior and 6 point cage w/low door bars for easy in/out. The crossbar will not allow the drivers seat to go all the way back, which is somewhat annoying. If you're over 5"9", I would cut out the crossbar. The guy that originally built the car must've been a shorty.
*Repainted approx 3-4 years ago
*Monster Tach and Autometer gauges
*306 w/aluminum heads, GT 40 Tube Intake, and I think a B cam
*NOS nitrous kit installed (I know nothing about)
*Tremec TKO or 3550, don't remember which
*Unknown clutch, pedal pressure is too stiff for my liking, but I'm old
*New adjustable clutch cable installed
*Ford Racing M2300K 5 lug Cobra disc brake kit-installation on this car was detailed in one of the Mustang mags in the mid late '90's
*99/01 Cobra wheels w/new 245-55-17 tires front and 275-40-17 in rear
*3.73 rear gear
*H-pipe and Bassani cat-back
*NO RUST
*Previous owner took this in trade and was a 60's Chevy Muscle car guy, so I don't have all the details on it. But, everything above is accurate as far as I can tell.
** PRICE $8,900.00** I know it seems high, but you couldn't build it for this.
