Heres my problem. I have a motor taken out of an 89. I'm putting it in a 93 mustang of course. With the motor came the motor wiring harness and dash harness. Is the existing dash harness coming out into the motor bay going to be compatible. There is 2 plugs on 89 harness and only one on the 93 when the harness comes out of the fire wall. Could someone look at there 89 and tell me how many round plugs right when it comes out of the fire wall. I also have the dash harness that came with the motor. Will I have to change that.Seems like a huge job. Can I buy a new motor harness from a 93. Will it work on the 89 motor and then be compatible with my dash harness. I have so any wiring harnesses in my barn I could go on vacation with the copper but not one from a 93.This has mass air also

I have an 89 and I can look but to be honest I didnt use many of the plugs as i'm running a 347. I don't think you need many plugs anyway

Shouldn't have to change the dash harness for a motor swap I thought... just the computer harness....

I did change the computer harness. When I looked at the dash harness there's one plung right on the out side of the fire wall. On the dash harness I got with the motor there is 2.
