98 crown vic

i have a 98 crown vic for sale or trade its white with blue interior. Runs good 204k miles but i think it has a newer engine in it because it has a knock sensor in the valley that is not pluged in and there is no spot to plug it in. i read that they didnt put those in untill 02-03 but dont know for sure. The bad is when you first turn the heat on it smells like coolant for a second but dosent leak anywhere i can see so i think it needs a heater core, and it has a spot of rust on the driver fender and it needs a passenger side marker light. I put a set of bullits on it but they need tires i also have the stock steelies that were on it. 2100 with bullits or 1800 with stockers

Did u get that from Ryan ? If you did the motors from an 03 with lower miles and it had a lot of new parts. Hope this helps glws.

my 01 gt did that too. Turn it on, for the first few seconds it had the smell. No fog coming out of the vents and no residue on any of the windows. No leaks either. Heat also blew nice and hot and the a/c was cold. Seems in that car the core was just done and there was some antifreeze in or around the blower. That stuff takes forever to dry up and go away. Maybe thats what is going on here. Any way good luck with the sale. Looks nice.

its possible because i pressure tested the cooling system and the pressure didnt drop any.

My friend said he'd trade his '90 lx coupe 5.0 5spd black interior, and a roller shell. The '90 is a rust bucket and the roller needs some body work but has great frame rails. Thought id toss it out there
