im new to mod motors and need help . ive got a 01 gt , i drove it tonight and its got a bad miss . from around 1500 to 2000 rpm . doesnt matter if its under a load or not . it ran great but had been parked outside in all the rain . i unhooked the battery to install a cobra steering wheel and thats all ive done to it . what do i need to check ? thanks

I'd start by checking to see if any water got into the holes where the spark plugs are.

You could try unplugging the coil packs one at a time and see if it changes the way the engine runs. If you get to one where it doesn't get worse and the miss is the same, you've found the involved cylinder. Then I'd switch that coil pack with one of the other cylinders and see if the miss follows it. If it follows it to the other cylinder you have a bad coil pack.
