Didnt know exactly where to post this, i seen modular and windsor section but nothing for other motors. Anyways after reassembling the 302 i noticed the water pump outlets are really close to the alternator bracket. I didnt know if this was suppose to be like this or not. I included pics to see what everyone thought.

I just got done putting my motor back together an I'm pretty sure its just like that I will look tommorow morning an let you know for sure

I almost always put the tstat and housing on before i drop the intake so that looks weird to me because i never see it...but i do recall it being tight in there because it's a bitch to squeeze the heater core hose through that space so i'd say it's normal.

Yes that's normal just put mine back together. Put ur heater hoses on before alternator bracket because if not they are a b**** with alternator on.

Yep,looks normal,put the hoses on and clamp them before installing the bracket.

Also, a 302 is a windsor.
