Well I think I may sell the Cobra soon in order to financially better myself and pay off all of my college student loans. I have some "expenses" coming my way in the near future, looking to clear out some debt to make it easier for me. Can you guys give me a good idea of what realistic price would be on this car? I don't expect to make money, and not looking to make any kind of profit or be greedy. It's just a car that sits in the garage! Here are the Details

Good looking car. That price doesn't seem out of line to me. Good luck.

I'm thinking $9000 is about right. The paint color is "off" so even if the paint is great it won't pull buyers like a black car would. If it were black with 98% factory paint still- I'd say it'd go for over $12K easy. My 1994 Cobra went to a buyer all the way from Baltimore MD- so don't forget to advertise it on the big national Mustang forums as well. As many as Ford made, there really aren't that many Cobras out there for sale, and even fewer that are reasonably priced, modified with quality parts and in good condition.

I think you would come out further ahead by returning it to stock and then selling it. You'll get back more money on those items that way and you'll be able to lower the price on the car as well making it easier to sell. But I would think $9k is fair for the mods.

I don't believe the color hurts it at all. That is a sought after color and my personal favorite.

Thought this car had a blower?

That's what I thought too. Compression is probably a bit low for an NA car.

It did have a blower on it, compression is a little lower given that it has an 04 Cobra shortblock with dished pistons. It has stock B heads and cams, so compression will be a touch over 8.5:1 given that the chambers on the B heads are 51cc compared to 54cc on C heads (if I remember correctly).

So it seems that a $9k price is the consensus. Thanks for the help guys, I really didnt know what the car was worth honestly. You see some going for $6k that are ragged out and need paint or interior is shot, and then you see them for sale for $10k stock or $12k with a blower. Those prices seemed a bit high to me. I think I will put her on the market for $9500 or trade for a pickup and see how it goes.
