ok guys and gals, got a 2001 ford explorer sport trac the blower motor aint working. i have checked fuses and relays and replaced blower resistor just making sure not missing anything before breaking into putting a new blower motor

Before buying a new one, jump the old one with a battery to make sure its the motor.

yep like Kevin said. Or test that the voltage is at the motor plug then test across the motor to make sure there isn't a break in the wire

Ditto that. Father just had same problem and found he had corrosion buildup on the ground connection. As Dedpedal stated provide a known good 12v source straight to the motor to verify it. Then if possible apply that same voltage source via the fan control switch and make sure it works as well. If all does, then check motor negative to ground. Should read less than 2 ohms to frame ground. If higher clean the ground point of the motor and verify wiring integrity.

blower motor was bad and it was a pain in the ass to change. having to remove the washer fluid and anti frezze bottles to do it sucked
