Wanting some opinions on fuel line size for my carbed small hp motor goin to run a 750carb and i have the drop in pick up that comes out at a -10 do i need to run -10 all the way to the front or can i run a -8 ??? i was told i could but want to check first. Thanks in advance
Most run -10 from the tank to the pump and then -8 from the pump up to the engine/regulator. What pump are you going to run?

not sure on the pump yet but i have been looking @ the holly blue pump ??? any other suggestions??
I run a holley blue, nothing wrong with it other than it is extremely noisy. There are better pumps but it will get the job done. I used to run the tank insert and just ran -8 for everything.

Any pump that you know of that is not extremely noisy??
Generally "vane" style pumps are noisier than "gerotor" style pumps. The holley red, blue, and black are vane style pumps. Mallory Comp 140 is a nice pump that is the gerotor style. Holley has a HP series pump that is also gerotor style.

I have used the Mallory Comp 140 pump and regulator, loved it.
No. 8 is more than sufficient for your current application based on what you have stated.
