So I am checking prices on TV’s to replace a couple old ones I currently have. I come across Best Buy.com and they have a great price on LG LCD. I decide to purchase so I place my order (12/31/11). I get the order confirmation email shows product will be available to pick up on the 4th. I check my credit card and see the $600 pending as debit, everything normal. Yesterday I receive a email stating that my order was cancelled due to a pricing mistake sorry for the inconvenience and your account has been credited. I check my account and the money is still not available shown as pending. This is BS! Now I missed out on other deals because they have tied up my money 4 days as of 1/3/12 still not available. I then find out that they continued to allow customers to place orders later that day even though they were aware of the pricing mistake. This is ridiculous, after searching around I find out that Best Buy does this often (list a low price then refuse to honor by cancelling the orders). I think this is a bait & switch. I am so aggravated manly due to them tying up my money. I will no longer be shopping at Best Buy and want others to be aware! I found out 4 of my friends just had same thing happen or was cancelled due to Christmas timing issue.
