At first I didn't catch it but when I did I had to go back and take another look...but I think your right. He is revving the engine with the clutch or brake which I thought was pretty funny...not sure if Chevy was paying attention on this one or not.

I think they accidentally showed the "reverse negative", basically the film flipped around. I think they are revving the throttle, your just viewing tho wrong side of the film. Which is odd, because I'm sure they're not using film, so it would have to be a digital foulup.
