I am with you 100%.. I was at a junkyard on tuesday and the guy has one in the barn. I told him it was on my dream list. He laughed and said that it was bought for a figure 8 car about 5 years ago ...

He is a family friend so i might try to swing a deal in the near future

It's a Fox chassis so it's essentially a Mustang underneath. Or technically, a Mustang is a Fairmont/Zephyr underneath since they came first in '78.

I dunno...they have more body but they also have basic aluminum bumpers without the extra urethane wrapped around them. Maybe, maybe not. A lot of the early Fox Mustangs did come with aluminum bumpers...the one on the front of my car is aluminum and came off a '79 hatch.

Absolutely.... I've been looking off and on for a while. I've located two with less than 29k miles. They make cool hot rods. Kinda like the Fairlanes, Falcons, & Comets of the '60s. Yet you have the luxery's of the Fox body chassis.
