I have a 2007 Mustang gt and was wondering if my brake lights should come on when i push in the clutch or if there was something wrong with it. I noticed it when my brother asked me if i left my lights on, the car was off doors locked and the brake lights were on including the third one.

Your brake lights will not come on by pushing in the clutch pedal, there is another issue.

sounds like the brake light switch has went bad
