Hey just wanted to see what kind of motor mounts everyone likes to use. I am looking for some and I have heard different stories about different ones but I have been looking at Energy Suspension mounts, Prothane Mounts and then some other generic prothane brand looking mounts. I am probably going to buy Energy Suspension mounts but wanted to get opinions on the prothane brand mounts? Prothane is a little cheaper than Energy Suspension but I have heard prothane is not as good. So I am looking for more information on both. Also how much vibration do you feel with these mounts.

Well I am working on rebuilding a 302 nothing big. It's going to be a 306 w gt40 upper and lower intake manifold gt40P heads and trickflow stage 1 cam so nothing major just a little street car, Only reason I am looking is because one of my stock ones the rubber is shot, so just looking for some Poly mounts to replace it. I don't think my wife would appreciate all the shaking from solid mounts that is if she would ever ride in my car to begin with.

I have a brand new pr of energy suspension mounts that have not even been out of the box yet. Decided to sell all my car so I won't be needing them. Let me know if you would be interested.

I have been looking at Energy Suspension mounts and was thinking about just getting them. I can get both motor mounts and the tranny mount for like 155 shipped. Justed wanted to see what you guys liked to use.

I also used Energy Suspension mounts in my 89. I would recommend them. I have a very similar engine to what you described and at a stop light with the tfs stage 1 cam the car does shake a little. I like the shaking, the wife does not. :)

Yea the car shakes a lot right now with the stock engine and I don't like to rev it over 3k cause I feel like it is going to blow up cause of the shaking. I think I am going to go with the Energy Suspension ones I just wanted to see what others used. Now I have to determine if I want to install them now or wait until I get the new motor built. Which not sure when it will be done. I just want to drive the car and it not feel like it is going to shake to pieces.
