hey guys i am debating on doing a 5.4 swap out of an expedition into my 90 gt. has anyone attempted this? ive searched the forum but had no luck and was wondering what i might need an how hard this was. i will have the wiring harness an computer out of the truck but dont know how much of it i will need. any help will be appreciated.

Sounds like you will have just about everything you need.... can't be too much harder than the swap I am doing.... Biggest thing is, getting the motor mounted, and then wiring everything up so that it works with your original body harness.... much easier than trying to re-wire everything.

the motor mounts are the least of my worrys lol im good with fabrication but the wiring thing is a different story, thats what im worried about

well if you need help with wiring anything let me know... I have worked in the aerospace industry on things like the new mars rover.... nothing scares me anymore, it all just takes time.

my buddy just did this in his 04. not a fox, but pretty similar. I'll let him know about the thread and see if he'll chime in.
