I got this car on trade and it needed quite a bit of work. The car had a blacktop SR with pretty much every bolt on and then some and was making just shy of 350whp on an evo3 16g setup. Shortly after I got it the turbo took a shit. So then I tossed on a Precision GT3271 along with many other new things and played with it for a few months. I had a few more issues come up and just decided to tear the car apart early in the season. My initial plan was to make the car MINE. I then parted it all out and planned to do an LSx swap along with many other new upgrades. Well I just recently sold off my LSx swap stuff and changed my mind again. I've already had my LS1 fun with past cars and am now going a different route. I've decided on building a sbf setup and will probably throw a little boost at it. I like the thought of having an under dog V8 with all these LSx swapped cars running around now.
Sooooo with that all said. I've also done some suspension changes, new aero and widebody, getting ready to paint, few sets of new wheels and many other little things. Oh and I need to clean up and make some additions to my cage.
Here are a few pics of the car since I've owned it. Im posting from my phone now, but I will keep this updated as best as I can with more pics soon!

Both fender wells cut out. I still need to trim and clean them up. I also powerwashed the whole chassis. This is before I cut the other quarter out. .

Both quarters are cut out. I still need to fold over the inner wells, tack weld and then cover with fiberglass.

Started a little paint for the engine bay/wheel wells.

New undercoating
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a88/seandb20/2011-04-08_14-30-30_918.jpg
I dropped the front subframe and pulled the rack/tie rods. Ordered my rack bushings and solid steering bushing. I accidentally ripped the boot on one of my outer tie rod ends and might go with something new there too?
Got my wilwood master for the hydraulic clutch setup yesterday. I might go pick up another this week and possibly delete the brake booster. I have ordered and lined up a lot of shit this past week actually. So I will definitely have some good updates soon!
Here are a few newer pics. I undercoated the frame rails/trans tunnel and painted the engine bay. I still have to undercoat the rear wells and touch up a few spots. Sucks I still have to hammer the trans tunnel some though. Slowly but surely it is coming along.....
Even after power washing it was still covered in grease

I also picked up a couple worn out F150 302's. Which I ended up selling for some cash and a factory 302 front sump pan.

Then the car sat untouched and collecting dust for awhile

Eventually I got the motivation to start working on it again. So i decided to start the prep work for paint.

Picked up my EFI harness and A9L ecu (not pictured) and then realized I the injector harness that I already had is the wrong one
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a88/seandb20/2011-06-24_13-13-48_290-1.jpg
I also bought a package deal of parts and got the wrong distributer/MSD harness
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a88/seandb20/2011-11-06_20-20-43_310-1.jpg
Then I found the right one hidden away lol Hopefully it works good after a new cap/rotor and gear.

I had a couple CNC pull style slaves laying around. Not sure if I will be using one of these or just picking up a RAM hydrualic T/O bearing?

Hard to see, but I have been stocking up on tires to break the car in on. My little garage is getting packed. It now has somewhere close 50 tires in it and a few extra sets of wheels. All of them are 17/18's :D
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a88/seandb20/2012-01-06_21-45-42_125.jpg
Back to the car...after awhile at the shop and me barely getting time to drive down and work on it. I decided to move it a little closer to home. I used to work right next to my sponsors shop, but switched jobs and getting down there became a hassle.

I gave up a HUGE space filled with all of the tools imaginable for a large 10x30' storage unit (with electric) to get this thing done. The main reason is because it is literally right next to my work and only minutes from home.

So far those are all of the pictures I have taken. I just bought another set of wheels for drift spares (stock 350z 17's) and the rest of my parts for the 5 lug conversion as well as some 60mm extended studs. More pics and progress to come within the next few days.

I've been slacking lately to be honest. Although for once I have put more important priorities first. Resulting in the big delay on this build. I have a 2-3 month maximum deadline now!

I test fit the new heart before tearing it down today. It isn't tucked all the way in until I modify the oil pan. Then I spent an hour trying to get the damn clutch fan off!

More than enough clearance up front once the fan is off. It should sit a little further back when bolted in too.
