have mac long tubes, the factory steering shaft was barely laying on headers.

bought flaming river manual rack with their "forged true" steering shaft and now it lines up to go straight through the header tube.

the only fix i see is to cut down the steering shaft which goes through the firewall and attaches to the steering wheel.

has anyone else had any experience with this setup in a vert?

Can you use offset bushings to bring it over a tad? And is your engine sitting level? A lot of times if you've put a motor in these cars you have to get the motor to "settle". That might get you some clearance too.

I'll check that out today stangman. Not sure about offset bushings. I'll report back when I know something.
