S10 Transmission

My friend has a 98 2.2L auto 2wd and the transmission is going out. he is looking to replace or have rebuilt. he has called a few junk yards with no luck. any reasonable transmission places around?

I can rebuild or repair is reasonably, did you check strickers for a good used one?
