Ok so finished putting everything on about a week ago
Performer heads
1.7 rr
Gt40 I intake

So here is the problem

Had a high/ erratic idle sometimes
I used a fel pro 1250 using permatex on the ends and water coolant
I realized today I did forget to retorque the lower after I ran it which I'll do tonight
I also used vac caps different colored picked up from advance in the extra ports on the gt40
I deleted the egr and smog lines
I set the idle and tps today and seemed like it fixed the problem then once driving about 15 min I received a small studded and idled high again

Question is could The caps expand once the engine is getting hot causing the leak?

I know what to do and I'll do it later just wanted to make sure it sounds good

Check all vac lines replace with rubber caps , replace the one or two vac lines I reused, and retorque the lower does he sound about right

Is a 1250 fel pro ok? I red mixed reviews

Thanks

Well did the above mentioned this am made it to work seems to be going ok I tightened the lower in two steps and had to turn to get to 16 ft pds so that seemed pretty low no drivability probs though pulling codes tom.
