I am going over everything before taking the car to the dyno later this week, so i thought i would make sure all the rockers were adjusted correctly... Anyways, a couple of the "axles" on the roller tips were starting to work their way out! These are 7/16" stud mount Crane Enegergizer's (1.6 ratios).

What could possibly causing this? I don't really feel like redoing the motor this year due to a part failure!

What rockers do you guys recommend?

Ive seen that alot on crane rockers. I usually put them in a vise and mushroom the "axle" so it cant move. or,, I can sell you a set of harland sharp 1.6?

That is actually a good idea...i can see see trying that and bending the pin... I have noticed the newer designs have the side flared so it doesn't happen...seems like common sense they would have always done this...

Those are the least expensive rocker out there, ie. you get what you pay for.

Step up to Comp Cams Pro Series Rockers, if you have the funds.

That's what I'm finding out now...back when they were purchased money wasn't an issue, it's what I was told to buy...looking back now, obviously a bad choice (among many others during this build).

I'll check them out...do they use a different design roller tip so this isn't an issue?

I have a set for sale if interested, stud mounted 1.6 fully forged roller rockers. Let me know, you will not have that problem with these. They have about 2000 miles on them and were used on my Victor Jr heads.

Pro magnums or Ultra pro magnums? They both seem to have a better designed roller tip...
