I have a 1987 GT with LX fenders trying to out on the GT ground effects with not much luck. Where the door ground effect goes to the front fender, it doesn't seem to look the same like the wheel well is not as big of a radius, has anyone else encountered this or know this to be true, thanks for all your help in advance!

Got pictures? That would help.

Only issues people have w/ ground effects are if you are using 91-up fenders and trying to use 90-down front fender extensions. and vice versa.

You shouldn't have any issues w/ the side skirts.

So If i'm using the stock 87 effects and they are newer fenders they may not match correctly, right? Cause thats what i'm seeing like they are approx. 1/4-1/2" too short for these fenders i'll post pictures 2morrow

Yeah. Newer fenders are longer than older ones in that area.

anybody have a rust free set of 1987 GT front fenders they'd want to trade on a set of 90-93 LX Fenders? Or for sale either way?
