Anyone on here refinish the quarter windows on a fox? Know anyone who does?

I don't know anyone who does but i've seen several writeups on doing it. Basically you just fill/sand/repeat until they're smooth. Make sure you tape off the glass so you don't scratch it up.

i use a epoxy primer is called 2k. tape the window up and lay the primer to it let it setup sand it down and repeat until smooth. then i use sem semi gloss blacl trim paint and they will look great.

We sanded mine down, used some filler to smooth them out, used 2k primer, sealer and Hot Rod black.. As matter of fact we did this to all my black chrome.. It looks awesome..

I ordered a set of covers, thin black plastic.. Problem was, they sent ones for a hatch and I needed it for a coupe.. Hate to go through the hassle of sending em back,,

I was told to stay away from the Trim covers by Late Model Restoration, now of course they wanted to sell me the whole Quarter Window for about 500 shipped. So i tapped into the knowledge of my friends 30 years experience on body work and he said to sand, fill, seal, prime and paint them.. I probably have 8 hours labor and $100 bucks cash in supplies, with plenty of primer and paint to due the 10 more times... Fix what you have...
