As far as I am concerned Quick Fuel can kiss my ass and then some. After spending 700.00 and then some on their carburetor I will go another route the next time. I am running E85 and they sent me a carb with gas squirter spec and on top of that after tearing apart the damn carb. There isnt a fucking thing in it thats correct per the card that they sent with it. All the jets both primary and secondary, nozzles, air bleeds, power valve and I can go on were all wrong. Fucking jack off's. They are having me send it back so they change everything and supposedly make it right per specs off my combo. I will be calling a supervisor tomorrow to infoirm him that whoever the assclown fucktard is that put my shit together is as useless as a tit on a bull!! By tomorrow I will be less irritated and will try to remain professional about it when speaking with a supervisor. Pretty sad when you have to tear shit apart after you spend that kinda money to see if what the spec card says is correct or not.

Calm down :)

Is it possible that your carb and someone else's got mixed up during packaging?

If so that means someone else is gonna be pitching a fit as well.

They had better cover shipping BOTHS ways even if it is red labeled or USPS Priority.

I always hate when Mista is the voice of reason.

Considering that nothing is in spec, it sounds like someone fucked up when boxing things up for shipment. It's early in the race season, they're probably slammed with rush orders. If they're making it right, it's not quite time to drag their name through the mud.

Well after speaking with the supervisor today they are going to make it right. As well as reimburse me for my funds on spent parts that tech told me to try to fix things. They were very understanding of my anger and dissapointment in their company. This could've been a very big costly mistake if it was someone else that didn't know what they were doing and didn't own a wideband. Especially the way this thing wanted to lean out. I guess we will see how the new one goes when I get it next week. Not really dragging their name thru the mud just pissed off about it and whoever put that thing together. 700.00 to me is a lot of money to spend on something that you have to tear apart and check someone elses work.

I agree steve 700 bucks is a good size chunk of change to not have what you need, and from the sounds of it something that could have cost you even more down the road. Hope it gets straightened out man.

It does sound like something got mixed up in shipping or build sheets got placed on wrong carbs.

Quick Fuel is the best out there in my opinion, they are great people and I am sure you will be happy once the mix up is fixed :bigthumb

Love my Pro Systems Carb so far.

Ditto, worth every penny. Mine came running a little rich but i couldn't provide head flow data so i can't fault Patrick on that. It runs like a beast.

I've only bought a rebuild kit for a 4150 from Quick Fuel and that was through a vendor quite awhile back and then, for the price, it was a great deal with good parts.

I would have been upset as well since you didn't just buy a carb off the shelf, you paid a good sum of money to have one custom set-up for your application and it was wrong. Mistakes happen to the best of us. The best way to judge a company is if they do make a mistake, by looking at their track record it isn't often, how do they handle it and make it right.

With this statement I'd say they are living up to what I would expect a good company would do for their customer. Glad that it seems that they are taking care of it and you are not out any money.

Well i'm happy to hear that everyone else has had nothing but good things to say about Quick Fuel. But I will never recommend them or use them again. This past week has been nothing but nonsense and a big run around with them. And then after fighting with them for a tracking # that I was promised for 3 days and never recieved. I get..... We talk to you more than we talk to our wives. I went off and said well I have an idea that you can try and its quite simple. Do your damn job right and dont tell someone your going to do it and not do it. Each day I asked for a tracking # they had to ask for my email again. That just tells me that they never wrote it down in the first place. So low and behold I get the carb back today after it was promised this past Tuesday. I open it up and they kept my gaskets along with my other accessories like my progressive bar, 1-1 bar etc...... UNFUCKING BELIEVABLE!!!!! Never again. I will go with Pro Systems next time.

Damn dude that's messed up. I know nobody is perfect but customer service is where you fill in the gaps when you're not perfect, and that's not good customer service. I've only had to call the Pro Systems line once and it was after hours so i left a message and got a call right back and it was like 10pm on a Friday night, and all i needed was advice on tuning the 4 corner idle.

Considering I got two transmissions mixed up/tagged wrong, had to make a second trip to Columbus, IN to deliver the correct tranny AND assist in swapping it, while dodging a tornado.....but it was the right thing to do for the customer.

Yeah go figure I bolted the carb on and its alot better but its still not right. Definitely need to step up the nozzles and jets. Its super lean now. And still has a stumble upon WOT.

That is definately not a way for them to handle a situation like this. They really dropped the ball and I would be furious like you are now too. I hope you get things straightend out, man what a PITA!!!
