1987 Mustang GT

I have an 87 Mustang GT I want to make sure that the fenders off an 87 4cylinder convertable will work with my 87 GT ground effects, I got a pair of 93 LX fenders that wont let the side skirt ground effects match up can anyone help, thank you

They'll physically fit, however you must drill holes and rivit the brackets that hold the GT effects on to the replacement fenders

that i can do but i was concerned about the fitment of the lower side skirts mostly. Thanks for the input
