I just got my second red light ticket ever and this one has got me pissed off. They literally gave me a ticket turning right on red
What's bad is that your still out $100 even if you fight it. These things are a joke!
Yup, have to come to a complete stop. Bunch of bs

Springfield Ohio has several of them. I have been told that they have a 1-3 second delay that needs to be observed (complete stop) before they will ignore your right hand turn. Chicago had a big issue with this back sometime when areas surrounding started using them to generate revenue. I was told up there to make sure that when turning right on red to stop behind the intersection line (big white stripe) and to do a 3 second count before attempting to make the right turn on red.
These things suck and they are just another money generator. Just like that pathetic deal in Hamilton with the speed trap camera rig. I'd love to seem some young hungry lawyer slap a giant class action on the company behind that as well as Hamiltuckey.

I am wondering when they are going to pass the law that prohibits the use of them? The state of Florida just had a June rule the other day that it was unconstitutnal. Now if only they would do that here.
What's bad is that if its not stopped now, it will get worse and worse on the bull crap that they pull off to make a few dollars.

I just don't turn right on read anymore. MY exwife fucked me, her plates were in my name during our divorce and she turned right on red up on smithville and I had to pay the ticket. Bunch of bullshit to me. A cop sitting there would have never ticketed her and I wouldn't have had to cough up 100 bucks for this bs.

I'm the same way when I get into them area"s with the cameras. I just dont turn on red. I wait for a green light. I was issued a 100.00 ticket for 10 over up in cleveland 3 years ago from one of then gay ass cameras. I never paid it and it went to collections where it still sits.

Put it on the ballot and repeal them like Cincinnatians did. Hell NAACP would do it themselves if enough people complained.

We USED to have them in Lima, until we repealed it. We also did the same thing with speed cameras.
