Hi fellow Stangbangerz, I have two threads with no reply's i am kinda new to the whole site even though i've been a member for a while. please look at them and reply on is about my 17" wheels & the other is about my radiator issue, thanks and hope you all have a gr8 and Blessed day!

Your trying to sidestep the way things are done here by selling or trading a set of wheels by putting the ad in projects in progress. Your other thread is a legit question and has been answered. Some times it takes awhile for things to get answered here,just be patient it will happen.

Their are plenty of ways to help your post count. The easiest is with a project in progress thread. You get to make as many post (relevant) as you want. Just post some pics of what you have,what you will do,and your good.

Welcome to the site 90 notch! Don't let some of the crap that goes on around here bother you. For the most part you will find a good bunch of people that will go out of their way to help you, answer your questions, and give solid advice based on their experiences. Yes there are a few folks who like nothing better than to stir the pot rather than helping, in some ways you can't blame them when you see some of the stupid stuff that goes on as well. Typical internet stuff....wish it could change but it probably won't.

The post count is required as quite a few people's only life here is to buy or sell something. They contribute very little to the overall good.

Just relax, use the search function, you'll find a bunch a real good solid information here. Not everyone checks-in daily, it may take some time to get replys to your posts. Hope to see you at a cruise-in or the track sometime! Let us know when events are happening in your neck of the woods and maybe it will give us somewhere to go to.

I typically stay out of these types of threads but I think rather than starting a thread in the "rant" section you would be much better off just chiming in on other threads or starting a thread about your car. Conversations and pictures will get your post count up quickly. You are upset no one replied to a thread that a moderator would/should of typically already deleted. This website has its fair share of people that have over the top opinions and some that just love to stir the pot. This website has plenty of good people who are more than willing to help when it comes to a legitimate question. There are a lot of well seasoned "mustang" people on her that know their stuff and will openly share their knowledge too. The classified section is a great resource for this website, I agree but it was abused by members in the past so rules have been put in place. I know there are a ton of people who disagree , but rules are rules. So, just use the website and interact with people, it will add up quickly. Also, don't be easily offended by people. Internet pissing matches make all parties involved appear to be idiots. That's not an image a new person trying to sell things wants to develop. That's my Take on this thread. So good luck and welcome to Stangbangerz.

Keep in mind that unlike Stangnet or some other forums, this place has far less active members. You might look down at the member list and see that there are 7,785 members and think to yourself "why the hell can't i get a reply out of almost 8k members?". Well, the answer is because probably 9 out of 10 of those members signed up to sell or buy something off the classifieds and then never logged in again. Then out of the ones who stuck around, they don't come around much anymore because of bitching and crying about things like post count requirements and petty disagreements between moderators, con artists in the classifieds, etc etc.

Ironic isn't it? Think about this for a minute. Today the most users online has been 213, and those are the regulars. That's 213 out of 7,785. Where are the rest of those members at? They're long gone after buying/selling what they were looking for. Now imagine for a second that we actually had 7k active members...imagine how fast your thread would've been replied to then. Imagine how healthy the classifieds would be if we had 7k regulars who were all contributing to the forum and the classifieds. It would be like our own eBay where we knew every person selling something. Think of how much better that would be. Instead people come and leech off the forum and never come back.

i my self love stangbangerz, only been here a few months and only sold one thing a npi dipstick to Evolved :-) lol for 10$ was glad to help :p, and if you ever got one of those jackass off craigslist that thinks they know everything and actually knows very little!!! i usually weed them fools out by a phone call and talking to the person, but if i drive 51 mills and the shit there selling is not what its supposed to be im gonna be pissed... yup its great to know someone first, a local site like this is great for me plus iv had mustang for 15 years plus and actually know very few ppl in my area that have stangs.

Respect is something this site used to have a ton of. I remember being a noob and posting a thread about my lifter job I was having problems with when I first got into Stangs. One guy took the time to explain things and even came over to my house after he got off work to help me get it back together. That man made this site and wanted it to be that way with everyone. Wish I had some help for you. If you can't find an answer here try searching corral.net. That site has almost anything you can think of over there.

Although being new i have met a bunch of good people n here and alot of good advice for a week i read and read about 373 and 410s and i couldnt decide so i asked my fellow sbz and guess what nobody was an asshole. Hell i had a panic attack on my way to get parts from 700 mystic and he said pull over ill come to you and when i tried to give him an extra 20 for gas he said no thanks.
