1990 GT 5.0 5spd, 52k original miles(I posted a pic of the serial number so you could do your own CarFax like I did, but I didn't keep a copy). First a little about the car, then I'll go into the history of it. Car has a 5.0 out of a 92 that I put into it, doesn't leak or use oil, Cobra clutch, billet shifter, T5 is a fresh rebuild, has wild rides S box in it, 3.55 gear, moser 28 spline axles, 17X8 cobra R wheels that were peeling chrome now painted black, 3 row brass radiator, Pioneer stereo with high end speakers and crossovers, GSS340 in tank pump, SCT chip with E85 and regular gas tunes, BBK equal length headers, Bassani X pipe(like new) and new Flowmaster cat back. A/C has been retrofitted for freeze 12, works great. Fiberglass hood, Saleen wing. A/C, Cruise, PW, PL, Hatch release and leather. Power locks do not work, they froze from sitting so long, replaced the window switches because they had corroded and stopped working correctly as well.
So the story, this car was bought and then the modifications began. The car got a centri supercharger on it, eventually a tremec, had southside upper and lowers on it(hence the reason the S box was installed), and somewhere along that timeframe(first few years) the car was painted the purple it is now with the white with purple pearl stripes. He took it to the first MM&FF True Street Challenge at Norwalk OH. The mags noticed it and it was featured in a couple and I believe it was a cover car. If you have the issue this car was featured in/on, I am interested in purchasing that to go with the car. Car had a bolt in roll bar that was painted white as well. The owner continued to race it up until the original engine came apart and the car was put into a garage where it sat from around 96/7 til 2004 when my friend bought it out of the garage. He brought it home, sold the blower, the tremec, etc, put an engine in it and trans and drove it for about a year till he decided a Lexus was more his style. He traded it to me, and I let it sit outside for 4 years, 2 of which was overseas. When I came back I drug it out of where I had it sitting and put a 470 rwhp windsor in it with a TKO 600. Drove it for the summer, and into the fall, then pulled the engine, sold it and the driveline off. I put a good running 5.0 and rebuilt T5 into it and made it the driver it is now.
It's been wrecked a couple times by carfax, and the driver's quarter panel really needs replaced(I have one that comes with it) as it was poorly repaired. The car presents itself well and is a fun driver as it sits. I would like someone to get it that will restore it and put it back to a cherry 52k mile car that would be worth some good money. I'm asking 4900 for it. I will consider partial mustang trades, but you give me car and cash. Please PM with any questions or post here. Doors close like new, still has original front brakes, rack is tight, etc. Here are pics, sorry for the long post:
