What kind of vessels? Material? It's too far for me to drive, but I know a guy in Tipp City who does weld work out of his house and he teaches our certification classes.

Try calling a Millwright, Pipefitters or Steel Erectors hall in your area. Without seeing it first hand it will be hard for me to judge how to fix it/how long it will take/tools required. At least with union labor you get someone who knows what they're doing.

I'm in the boiler makers union 106. Are you using MIG (hardwire or flux core?), stick, TIG or subarc? Right now I'm working 70+ hours a week but ill try to find you some help.

we hired a company to repair this tank.
he used an arc with a bunch of different rods.
this same company repaired this tank before with out issue but for some reason they cant get the welds to hold this time.
i sent a sample of the metal out and had it aniyzed and it is steel.
a mig non flux core has been tried with the same results, the welds just pop off.

I was in the pipefitters before quitting and going to g.e. I did all kinds of vessel repairs. Call the former company I worked for. Debra Kuemel @ (513) 271-6500. Ask for mike Houstin. They can fix it for you. Tell them Daniel Meyer referred you.

Just a FYI. The company has to be certified for the state of ohio to repair vessels. Don't just get any fool off the street.
