I bought a brand new left over 2009 R6. I had to drive up north to get it. This thing looks much better in person. This isn't my exact bike I havent had a chance to take pictures yet considering I just picked it up last night. I had a 2008 that I fell in love with and I've been itching to get another. I ordered the two tone windshield and orange and black seats as pictured, integrated tail lights, carbon fiber frame sliders, flush mount turn signals and Orange clutch and brake levers.

Thanks guys. I'm gonna take it easy for a while cause last year I literally went knee dragging. I went riding with a new rider and he locked his brakes in front of me in a Sharp turn and crashed. I was already committed so I had two options. Hit him and crash and possible kill him or avoid him and crash anyway. I was able to avoid him but 60mph into a hill with a 500 lb bike slamming into the back of me is never fun. I do like to ride but I'm not getting to cazy lol.

The damage:

Where do u normally ride. I usually go to Kentucky. There's allot of good roads out that way.

I usually stay in Ohio. I like it out East and all the roads coming off of 52. I want to explore some in KY, but need to spend some time learning the roads.

Sorry about your get off. Once you commit, you just have to choose the lesser of two evils. I hope you are healed well. That looked brutal.

What kind of gear were you wearing?

On this day I was only wearing jeans, t-shirt and a helmet. I went to beechmont motosports the day before to buy a jacket, gloves and some riding pants but they didn't have my size so I had order everything. Ky roads are 100x better than Ohio roads when it comes to riding. A little more dangerous though. Once you get into the country you get allot of blind corners, missing warning signs, random 90 degree turns with missing warning signs, uneven payment, etc. It's allot of fun though. I don't get crazy or anything I just like cruising at a descent pace. There's no way I'm going to go 120mph in a turn especially with a guard rail. If there was a guard rail where I crashed there is no doubt in my mind id be dead.

Sorry about your accident , that does look nasty . Hope you healed up good. We used to always put the new guys in the back just for that reason , so they didnt take all the rest of us out.

1,000th post! LOL. Im always the one leading for some reason. It doesn't matter who I'm riding with it always seems that way. That day I just got tired of leading. I didn't feel like picking the roads to ride so I let him lead. Big mistake but I guess you live and learn. Anyway, its been about six months and my arm is healed pretty well. I broke it in four places and they put plates, rods and pin in it and I was at work two weeks later and working out in a month. I'm hoping to pick up a Chopper this weekend.

It's a complete custom one off Chopper. At least that's what the guy is telling me. I've never owned a Chopper so I'm kinda new to it. I'll post pics if I get it.
