I'm in need of a little help if possible. I have this 95 ford f150. 5.0 4R70W trans 4x4. Having trouble with figuring out the front diff. It has the ifs with thetwin beam setup. It looks like a dana 44 but I'm not sure and am having trouble finding the info. Anyone have any insight in this?

Try providing the VIN info to Ford to find out.

It shares similarities with a Dana 44, but is technically a Dana 35.

Well, it depends which specific axles you are comparing.
The TTB Dana35 axle used in most '90-'97 trucks has a lot in common with Dana44 axles used in fullsize trucks (such as the axleshaft joints) and uses a hi-pinion gearset for added strength in a front axle. It is by no means weak at all (the stock locking hubs excepted, read here about better hubs for it).
