Doesn't matter about boost. 500hp seems to b the magic number to cut it off. Whether it takes 2lbs or 20lbs to get there

And is this supercharger or turbo, if turbo then them 4.10s prolly won't cut it

It will be supercharged Vortech V2 so you think I will be good with the 4.10s?? As far as the x cam goes I had it laying around and just slapped it in I want to go with a milder cam any ideas on what would be the best one to run with the setup listed?? I figured the trans would be a problem at some time just hopeing it last a little while, till I get a 5 speed swap.. Thanks for the feedback....

get with popsfun. He knows these things well. He has a 95 and has had experience learning the limit of the engine type in question first hand.

Below is an example of a 398RWHP running a V-1. It makes 400RWHP on stock internals, stock cam, GT40 heads, Cobra intake and intake work, TB upgrade and fuel system upgrades @ 14psi. Would love to see it when its done.

No problem. The military was a win-win. I joined and got to serve, and they paid me and made me grow up. :bigthumb

Remember more boost means more compression of the air through the S/C which means more generated heat into the air being forced into the cylinders. Intercooling helps remedy this and allows higher boost levels which allows for more efficiency. The same principles apply in CO2 lasers that use turbo blowers (AC powered high RPM centri air pumps) to recirculate the laser gas through the discharge tubes. They have supply and return heat exchangers to better control and remove the heat from the lasing process. Have a great week.

E85, intercooled, or water meth cut it at 500 rwhp. Otherwise keep the boost down...
