I have a 2012 GT. I have not had any speeding tickets or accidents since 01 or 02. I'm 31.

I received a call from my agent that Cincinnati insurance came up with a new formula for rates. They want to raise my rate to 1900 F-ing dollars a year. That's a 600 dollar increase.

This is my only car now. I have a low 700's credit score. I did a quick quote from Esurance and allstate. They came back at a lil less than 600 for 6 months.

Any advice on who to use or stay away from? Thanks for your time.

Damn $1900...we only pay $2900 a year for 4 cars, the house, and an umbrella liability policy. We were with Western Reserve through an independent agent in town. We switched to Liberty Mutual a couple of years ago and save several hundred dollars. They were pretty good to deal with when a storm damaged the house last May.

I as well have progressive.

Full coverage on 2 cars and liability on 2 and 116 a month. It is 1000 dollar deductible though.

Like what greazy said, shopping around yearly is the best bet. I have heard this from an agent.

progressive. I have a 2012 mazdaspeed3, 2005 mariner, and my 92 mustang factory 5.0 car. All have full coverage and I pay 114 a month for all three. I believe I have 500 dollar deductables as well. May be less.

Dude when I had my 06 gt safe auto wanted 290 a month, state farm was like 120. I would call every place and make sure the policy has what you want, or don't want.

Things like roadside, rental car, different Max caps and obviously deductible will make big differences.

The cheap insurances are great for low rates, and normally great for sh%tty service when you need them. I have learned alot from the tornado. Seems to be the best two insurances out there are KY Farm Bureau and State Farm. The rest pretty much suck and give you just enough money to half-ass put things back together. This being cars, trucks, farm equipment, houses and everything else. Just remember, CHEAPER is not better. Progressive now fixes their own cars, you can't take it anywhere else other than them. Check the fine print!

I have progressive. I had a problem and was able to take it anywhere I wanted. They cut me a check and it was a done deal.

this is off the web sits. The last sentence says it all.

We'll help you arrange vehicle repair service and towing if you need it. If you're near a Progressive Service Center, you can choose our concierge level of claims service and have us manage your repairs; elsewhere, you can bring your car to a repair shop in our network. With either option, we'll schedule your appointment when you report your claim. If you prefer to use your own repair shop, you can do that, too

I go where I want but with my d/d I could care less who fixes it as long as its fixed. They arent going to have someone half ass the repair because in the long run that would cots them money by loosing customers.

I had State Farm, and at the time Cincinnati Ins gave us cheaper rates. The purchase of my 2008 made my Ins payments go up as well however not to your level and they cover my house, other car and a few other things.
