Seriously. I'm out $1600 because some dumb migrant worker couldn't get the taco out of her hand long enough to put down the right phone number.

I'm phucked out of my medical pay for 2 weeks (had my gallbladder taken out on the 8th). The money I had to go and buy a roller is gone because the "worker from a less fortunate country" put down the wrong contact information for my surgeon so they could verify my condition. Now it is outside of the initial claim window so I am out 16 Benjamins and that might not cover everything because it's our big bill week.

If my wife or I do not do OUR jobs correctly, people die. Maybe I'm old school in the thought that it doesn't matter what your job is, do it correctly.

Damn man that does blow. There goes more accountability it sounds like.

Maybe there's still a way to get it straightened out if you bitch enough?

If you would learn to speak spanish maybe they would understand you. Or in the case of cincinati bell you have to speak whatever language they speak in india.

Whoa! You filed inside the claim window correct? An error on their part does not negate a missed deadline on your part I would think. They have the claim date you initiated, you have the correct information. It should be obvious when they look at it that he/she fatfingered the keyboard. Are you not allowed to contact them and make them aware of the screw up? BTW I do belive that you can request to speak to someone else or someone above them that you can "better understand" and is capable of better assisting you. Good luck. Sorry you have to go through this.

Native tongue in India is Hindi, secondary is English. Either way hard to understand. I love when they try to use western style first names and try to fake an american accent. LOL!

Yeah, I've spent the past hour on the phone negotiating with them. Looks like I will get it now, but it won't come until next week which does me no good this week. I have $75 going into by bank on Friday (3 hours pay). My BP is so high that I think I may have popped my stitches. I'm having some pain in that region again.

Doesn't make your week easier, but at least there is some silver in the future. Glad you could get it ironed out to some degree.

I hear that. The union thing is new to me. Just started a new job 5 months ago. Like most things there are pro's and con's. Take care and get healed up. Maybe you can make it down for the cruise in this weekend. Stop by and say hi if you do.

My wife went through the same surgery and the same red tape bullshit when it came to short term disability. You pay for the damn coverage and pay dearly then they put so many road blocks and hoops to jump through you just wanna jerk a knot in someones ass.

Won't be at the cruise. It's 4 Wheel Jamboree and Wapak Tug Fest weekend up here. Besides, it sucks going to an all 'Stang cruise and being stangless. But thanks for the invite.
