I have a 03 malibu and the AC is blowing hot air. I hooked up a gauage and appears full. the AC is cycling on and off and the coolng fans are working. I see no blown fuses or bad relay's tht I am aware of. I have not a clue what can cause this any idea's or advice?

its low, probably a compressor leaking

Could still be low on coolant. The systems have a low pressure switch that will not allow the compressor to cycle on/off if it is below a certain level. Cheap freon gauges may be misleading if that is what you are using. My wife had an 03 regal that needed two cans before is would work properly. The first can charged the system enough to satisfy the low pressure cutout switch and allowed the A/C to make cool air on half of the cliamte control system but not both sides. An additional can (took it all but did not raise the pressure above full/safe on the cheap can) resolved the problem and it blew ice cold air from then on. Other things it could be would be an expansion valve or compressor as well. Hope this helps.

Mode door in the heater case may not be switching. Is it hot like heat or just not cool like ac should be.
