Ever wake up still feeling guilty like you just committed a crime or something because of a dream you had last night????
I had a bad dream last night and it is still lingering on my mind and creeping me out today. The feeling I had in the dream is still there. I hate this feeling. I won't go into detail because once in print always in print, but it sure was weird and completely out of character. No I'm not a Veteran of War either, but if this is a taste of what they deal with (PTSD), I reeeaaallly feel for them more than ever.
ARGH!

The only dreams I ever remember are twisted fucked up nightmares. I don't remember them often but when I do you could make a horror movie from it.

I don't have nightmares very often, but when I do it always seems like it's religious, end of the world shit. Talk about wiggin' a person out!

Nah, "there's always a bigger fish". Now break downs and no money to get it fixed or break downs in the middle of nowhere and having to leave it...yes....

I had one of those in the Navy when I was deployed back in 1987. It was so real, and it was about when my parents had come out to visit me prior to my deployment. I dreamed I took them to this place in San Diego that an old girlfriend had shown me. It was supposed to be one of those. "only the locals know about it places outside the tourism mainstream" places. I actually had recurring dreams about the place and even tried to find where it was on the map one day just to assure myself it was a dream. I still think about that one.
At least it wasn't a bad dream.

Maybe you have a future in TV evangelism??? You could highlight your hair in pink, put it up in a beeehive, get lots of eye makeup, and lounge in fancy gold trimmed, wing backed chairs.....................oops, forgot. Someone already is running that racket. LOL!

Yes, I have nightmares all the time...ever get those dreams inside of dream...talk about freakin you out. Just when you think your awake BAM something else scrares the crap out of you, then you wake up pinching, slapping even punching yourself to make sure you are awake? I've gotta stop watching The Walking Dead lol
Seriously, when I was in the Navy we got caught in a typhoon...ever since then I have these dreams where I am being swallowed up by 50ft. waves, they seem so real sometimes...just like you said, it's hard to shake it from your mind through-out the day.
My favorite ones are...dreaming that I just won a bunch of money and I have my fist clinching the money then when I wake up I find myself looking in my hand to see where it went...then reality hits me...ugh lol

More fun to be a Lucid dreamer where you can control the dream. Now those can get really fucked up!!!!
But I've also figured out problems that I had no answer for.
But I haven't been getting enough sleep lately to enjoy a good dream.

I had a dream that the world is going to end due to a massive meteor hitting the Earth in August 2013. In the dream there was even a day but i can't remember. That dream has stuck with me for many years because it was so real.
Last night i had a dream i was fighting off a skeleton dragon with slices of American cheese.

here's the one's i really hate i'll have a dream about being some place that i've never actually been but then a week, month, year down the road i'll end up being at that place for real and it's such a deja it's not even funny.......

Some of the deja vu dreams are places you'd been to, but only as a kid with your parents.
You might not remember it until you travel that same road 30+ years later.
I was in the old coal strip pits in Dad's home town where we used to shoot/plink when I was little one. For what ever reason I took an old road that was barely passable and found a place that dad got his 72 Bronco stuck, and I had dreamed about so many times because to kill time I played at a rock I called sandstone in my dreams.
Not easy to go back there either. The last time I was there was in Dad's truck after everything cleared Probate since he didn't have a will.
There is something about that small area of coal mine that I can't explain, yet I am drawn to it.
