Pics up later today.
I have had this car for about 3 weeks. Its not for me. I cant leave shit well enough alone and I cant afford to modify this car. Besides I would rather have a cheaper daily driver.
Dont get me wrong,this thing is an absolute blast to drive and I wouldnt hesitate to drive as far as Beefcake and his street car anywhere in the country.
Lets get the bad out of the way first. The interior is,lets just say, its seen better days. Which is common on this particular car. The door panel material is shot. I am in the middle of replacing the Vinyl on the door pieces and the two small pieces in the rear of the car that go into the inside quarter panels.
It has some small rust spots in the rear quarters above the wheel well and front fenders,low near the bottom of the car.
The seat motors have power and I can hear them make noise and the seats bump a little,they just dont want to move. Maybe some thing jammed in the track?
Headliner is gone,the fabric was removed and the backing was cleaned and spray painted colors of the german flag. Like I said,i have had it for 3 weeks. Wasnt me.I kinda like it though.
Thats about it.
The car has 144K on it.
2.5L Inline 6.
Automatic with manual mode.
Has aftermarket BMW rims on it,16 inch, Ill find out what type later today. Tread on tires is maybe at about a little less the 50%.
Has Bavarian Autosport lowering springs and Bilstien shocks at all 4 corners.This car handles like a go cart. I am also replacing the outside temp sensor since the old one reads that it is -35 out.
Just had a full synthetic oil change last week with a wix filter. Trans fluid was checked and topped off correctly.
Has a MP3 player am/fm radio.
Like I said,ill have pics up later today.
