Me and the wife were at the newport aquarium recently and went to the hooters there on the river and ate and noticed what looked to be a bar beside hooters out on the river. is this a pretty popular nightlife place to hang out or is it kinda dead there. Where in this area is the best bars nightlife stuff. Thanks

That's the beer sellar. It is a pretty cool place. Huge selection of draft beers and stays pretty busy on weekends and whenever the reds or Bengals are playing.

Newport is pretty cool all together. Check out hofbrahous (sp). Mainstrausse street. Then across the river by the ballpark you got the banks with some new bars and restaurants.

Jefferson Hall and Arnie's are good spots also. There may be a few other good ones in the levee. Just try to stay away from the gun and knife bars.

she's both. hooters is by far her favorite restaurant. We go to the one in florence all the time after the races there.

So many good places down there. We get hammered down there about every weekend almost. Just start at one and move along since there all close together!!
