I noticed i have developed a pretty decent fuel leak where the injector goes into the intake. Has anyone else run into this issue before? If so, what was the fix? I am just hoping it didnt go lean during my last pull i did on the street over the weekend!
I am running the CHP spyder EFI manifold if that matters...

Sounds like an o ring to me. If its at the injector not much else there.

Thats what i thought too so i threw some new o rings on last night. It made it go from a huge leake to a very small one... But you can still see a little "bubbling" around the bung. Would it help to put a bunch of grease oe something around the rings?? I used a silicone on the when installing them.

How does the rail mount? I had the same issue with mine. Had to shortin the brackets that hold the injectors down. Fixed the problem. I wouldnt use silicon. If used on top sid eit could clog the injector.

It has a bracken on the front and back injector to hold in place. What did you do to shorten the brackets?

Here is a pic of what it looks like:

Yeah like Jim said probably have to shorten the brackets, just cut a 1/16-1/8 inch out of them and weld them back together!

I used to have a set like that on a spyder intake. Can you slot the upper holes of the bracket? I would do it on a bridge port because the screws are so small you dont want to open up the holes any.

So i just found the culprit tonight that is causing the leak. It is spraying from the injector where the top plastic part meets the metal center section. Are these repairable? These are brand new bosch injectors btw...

i believe that metal cap comes off, maybe take it off and clean it? iv also heard that you have to get orings just for injectors like at a auto parts store, iv bought orings from lowes before and used them but the ones from parts store seat better.

so the seal between the top and the body? Might be a manufacturer flaw. Call the place you bought them from and see about getting it warrantied or at least find out if its a take apart assembly or pressed together. Or call Bosch and ask them direct.

Yeah, it is leaking from where the white piece meets the dark grey piece...spraying pretty good...no visible cracks that i can see.

As much as I hate to do it it looks like there is a place on Ebay that sells them individually...$75 shipped...probably going to have to suck it up and just buy another one. UGH!

Why would you not contact the manufacturer ding dong? Need it quickly or something?

My luck with "race" part manufacturers has not been the best. There is generally no warranty and it seems these companies never want to stand behind their products. I'm going to try though...you know me! hahaha
Yeah, kinda just want to get this thing to the track...

probably a small seal between the two or a crack on the inside lip of the body where it meets the top. Being new they should be able to send a new one.

The guy i bought them from actually replied back. I knew he owned a small shop down in florida... But looks like he is going to swap it out for me! I hope he pulls through for me so i can finally run my 10.9x @ 140! Lol
