not sure if im in right section but tryin to get hookin on 275s. Right now im still sportin 4.56s from my 306 slick combo but think its a lil too steep. Any recomendations? its only hooked a handful of times w a 1.54 60ft. that was off the footbrake at 1500-2000 rpm. its a solid roller windsor/ c4 combo full suspension, m/t 275/60s

What power adder, peak engine rpm, stall speed, and what is the weight bias? How much power does the car make? It's hard to give advice without details:bigthumb

4.10 with 28"tire on spray. Maybe 4.30 with 28" if u can spin it high enough

Put a TransKing trans brake in it for starters. That will allow you to achieve the performance out of the converter and get you out of the hole much quicker, 60' will decrease drastically. I agree w/ the 4.10 on a 28" tall tire.

Another good question is are you running 1/8 or 1/4 mile, or both?

Never said I didn't have a brake it has a pa in it. I said anything over footbrakin at 2000 or so it wont hook. I can utilize all 4200 of my converter but I'm not trying put on a spinfest. I run it 1/4 1/8 and street drive it. Its not a dedicated drag car but has all the solid suspension. Arb. Tube k member. A arms. Coilovers etc. So it should do btr.
