Meet my 2013

Here are the pics. I was trying to find the Green song by Kermit the frog to make a presentation with but no luck. It runs out very nice. Needs a few mods like TB, INtake, CAI, LT's, exhaust, and good tune, and maybe a 344 or 373 gear, but runs out very nice from the factory.

The 2013 produces 420 crank. Its a 6 speed and the gating is very narrow. Shifts like butter. Could stand a little shorter throw. Clutch is very smooth and forgiving. Exhaust note a little too quiet. Needs some attitude. Will be working on that after I get the savings back up.

Thanks gang. I was not a fan of the color until I saw it in person. I was a die hard redfire man. In photos it looks too much like sublime. Complete different color in the sun and live in person. Gonna getdifferent wheels but stick to the black or a dark gunmetal, something with a polished lip amd a little old school dish.

i feel the same way about my wheels. i didnt wanna put bullitts on my shelby because both my mustangs would have them, but they look so damn good and the dish really sets them off

Thanks Dale. So is a tune by itself helpful? I remember you running the boss 302 intake as well. How was that? Keep in mind the car is a speed manual and not an auto. Did exhaust help any? I was thinking of going with SW for longtubes and their high flow catted X pipe, and sticking with Magnaflow for the exhaust. Magnaflow has NEVER let me down. Did you re-gear? This one came with 331 and seems pretty spunky with the 6-speed tranny. I was thinking 355 or 373 tops. Last I will likely follow as well on the MGW, but curious if you have heard anything on the Barton that looks similar. Thanks again. Sorry to drive you crazy with questions.

Yes forgot JOn. Sorry. Jess go talk with mustangjon on the replicawheels he can get you good pricing as well. If there is an issue you deal with him direct here locally and not a guy in Texas. Don't get me wrong, they did me right and were very fair, but had I known Jon could get them for me I would have gon to him over on Galbraith at Tire Discounters there. Just a thought.

Yes the tune will improve throttle response and performance thru the whole range. The Boss Intake makes its power up top and will pull to 7500. The stock intake falls off at 6700 but has better low and midrange. I still have the 3.15s (if you regear let me know, I want your 3.31s lol)but the first gear is steep in the auto 4.17s. You can't beat MGW for quality or customer service, the owner George stands behind his products 110%. I haven't heard anything "bad" about the Barton. Also I havent heard any Magnaflows on the 5.0 in person.

Thanks. Drove one Walt. They run nice. Even had Terry do a search for one in the area in that color with the auto. None found. PLUS - A certain guy I know made a statement recently that pulled me back to the stick. Thanks Shannon (kennebell cobra)for being my conscience. Granted the auto did come out of the hole very nicely, BUT I just like having a clutch and gear box.

Pics do this car no justice. I said that from the first time I saw it at PRI last year.

I love the factory wheels with that color. Those 19's really stand out on it!

Lots of potential under the hood.

The t/b you def do not need, i'm over 1000rwhp with the stocker.

A CAI will help a little, moreso at the track, but a painted to match jlt on that sucker would look killer.

As I mentioned, I would hold off on gear for a little while. Much tighter ratios on the new cars, would be one of the last things I would do.

As for everything else! I can get ya setup! :)

Thanks guys. Just started looking at the track apps section. Didn't know this was on the car. Sooooo cool. A tree pops up on the dash advisory screen (in color). You select what distance you want to run, press okay and you are prestaged. Press okay again and you are staged and they lights start. Records best E/T's 60 ft times, braking, all kinds of stuff. Can't wait to find some remote side road to play with it.

I agree. I like a very light tint. Just a hint to make one question if they are tinted when looking from the side. I do not like the blackout limo tint look. Never have, never will. It was my intent to have the windows tinted lightly but never got around to it. BUT AGAIN, TO EACH HIS/HER OWN.
