Lately i've noticed my front end seems slightly loose while driving. After taking a through look at every nut at bolt and checking torque everything is tight. Took it for a ride and had the same feel in the steering. I decided to push on the top of the driver side tire and found that it made a clunking noise so I immediatly thought it was bearing related. After changing inner and outer bearings on both sides the loose steering and clunk was still present. I jacked up the front end and began checking the driver side and noticed if I push hard enough where the shock meets the portian that bolts to the shock tower it moves. Does this mean I have defective shocks? Opinions please...

Ball joints are new.
I'll check the strut nut again, when I discovered the clunking noise that was one of the first things I checked.

Ive had it happen and Ive seen it a few times. You think its tight by hand. Its not. Pound on it with a impact. It will fix it
