Anyone have scales or know where I could get a car weighed?

The scales down at Edgewater are always broke.

Thanks

is there a DOT scale somewhere near you?

I've heard of people using the scales at the scrap yards. Not sure how the businesses feel about it, but I know the yard off of round bottom has drive up scales

Its not a street legal car. So where ever I take it to, it would be trailored.

:dummy:Should have mentioned this in the first post.:HYF:

You have any feed/grain stores near you? They almost always have scales.

Of course your measurement may be in bushels, not pounds.

i'm pretty sure there's a few truck stops around NK they always have scales, just trailer it there take it off weigh it, i've never trailered one to do it but have scaled at a truck stop before

You got two ta truck stops, two pilots and a flying j. All have scales and are between Walton and Florence on 71/75.

id say your best bet would be to drive down to round bottom recycling after close. there is no gate and the scales are always on. ive been there several times nothing sketchy about it. i would go there one night and drive the whole truck and trailer with car on and get the weight. then just unload the car back at home and pull the empty truck and trailer with same amount of fuel. and youll be able to figure out car weight

Foss did mine but I'm not sure if he still has scales, I would think the speed shops would have them.
