We recently bought a Mustang II from a guy down around the Shelbyville,Indiana area. It is a black with black vinyl interior T-Top car. The car was a factory V6 4 speed. It is dismantled. The guy we bought it from is the 2nd owner. His brother ordered it brand new. They stored it in a barn for years and started taking it apart years ago to "Fix It Up". I am getting It out of the trailer tomorrow to start messing with it. From what I could see , it had solid body panels and some pretty good interior parts. I will get pictures of it posted up tomorrow. I have to get it organized a lot better to really see what it has since it is in pieces. It's definitely good for parts, But I think it could be built if anybody were actually into them! I am going to ask $600 for the whole car if anybody is interested. I will get pictures tomorrow afternoon. Thanks.

Wouldn't mind having the clutch pedal setup out of it... just in case....

Is it a ghia model? Where it has aluminum trim down the side? If not, I slightly need a good donor passenger door, and maybe more body parts for my '77.

I pulled a lot of the parts out today and took some pictures. Everything needs a really good cleaning. It has some really good black interior parts and solid body parts. It is a 1978. It has a pretty nice Cobra II grille and lower chin spoiler but it isn't a Cobra. It didn't have any kind of trim down the sides. The doors are solid. Passenger Door has some surface rust and a dent from where the engine fell over into it. It could be repaired easily if you know body work. Drivers door is good. Hatch has scale on one corner around seam sealer but is super solid. It would clean up with no issues. All glass and t-tops are in good useable shape. Complete dash is in great shape and has a very good crack free dash pad. Seats are solid but need recovered. Door panels and pulls are very nice. If somebody were building one of these I really think they could use quite a bit of the parts from this car.

I think I am hanging onto the lower front air dam. I got an email from a guy in Dearborn, Michigan that seems to know a little about these cars. It sounds like he and his team of gurus may be down this weekend

Are the bumper covers cracked in the corners? I wouldn't mind having the clutch pedal set up *just in case*

The rear louveres get me all excited but I don't have a use for them on a yellow 4cyl car. Lol

Wouldn't mind having another header panel if its decent, no cracks, and the cobra grille if its not broken anywhere (same as regular grille, just emblems different)

Aluminum dash bezels and steering wheel also interest me

How nice are the doors underneath?

I could also post this stuff on the Mustang II forum if you like.

The scale on the lower passenger door is still solid. Just surface rust and pitting. No soft spots. I will have to look at the bumper covers. I don't think they had any damage at all. Those bastards are heavy with the reinforcements still in them!
