Couple of vids from Turbo Ranger

Been out playing in the truck tuning a little . It seems I need to raise the rev limiter as I keep hitting it set at 7700 and still having problems getting boost to settle down . Gonna try a few different things tomorrow .Love that new Borg Warner S300 .

I KNEW this post looked familiar...saw it over on TF as well. When does it start building boost RPM-wise?

sounds pretty healthy. what are you using to tune with? what mods?

Boost is hitting around 3800 . I am using Mega Squirt II with tuner studio . It has Crower rods ,Wiseco Pistons with a .30 over block . Esslinger SVO head heavily ported with solid roller cam . Esslinger carb intake converted to efi with 65 mm throttle body running 120 lb injectors . Boport header with a Borg Warner S300 turbo with a Tial wastegate and blow off valve . C4 with brake and Precision convertor . I am at a dilemma on whether I should try and have the convertor loosened up or just spray it out of the hole .The convertor would go 5800 with old setup on the brake which was allot smaller turbo, cam and head but I just cant get it to light . We have been throwing timing at it and pulling some fuel but just at that peak where if the convertor would go another 1000 it would light . I just dont want to go to loose and drive thru it .

that is a really cool truck. the turbo 4 bangers are awsome. like to here what numbers it puts down?
