5.4 4 valve for sale/trade

I have a 5.4 4 valve for sale. Has heads, cams, timing chain/cover, 8 bolt crank, pistons and rods, and oil pan. No intake.

Pick it up for $700, or open to trades

Are those heads the same as the ones on the 4.6 4v? Id like to have that short block.

Heads are dif.you can make them work on a 4.6 thought. There worth 300 or so

You need that front cover its hard to find also along with the chains and guides.

Intakes the issue. Sullivan is the only intake that was made. Unless you buy adapter played or go sheetmetal

If I use my 04 Cobra heads with this block will my intake and whipple sc work?

No, the 5.4 is wider, therefore intakes designed for the 4.6 will not work with the 5.4 block.

not the intake on the 5.4 the use of a 5.4 navi head on a 4.6 was the question i beleive

I was looking to put my 04 Cobra heads, intake and whipple on the 5.4 block. Im thinking the heads on the 4.6 and 5.4 are the same. The bore, stroke, and timing cover are different. Right? I know there wouldnt be a lot of difference in power between the two. But I feel the potential is better with the 5.4 4v.

Yea you got it. You will have to get some type of adapter plate the heads are different that the ford gt heads
