Exhaust???

I bought a 99 GMC Sierra ext cab 4wd 5.3 auto. the factory exhaust has a slight leak and will need replacement in the near future. Any recommendations? Budget friendly,decent rumble with little to no drone in the cab is what I'm looking for. First LS series engine and not sure what sounds good.

I cut off the stock muffler on mine and put a flowmaster on. Sounds good little drone, but when you get on it the sound is horrible. It just sounds like a bunch of wind swirling. I think if you were to make it duals it would sound a lot better. I like the rumble and the low and mid range sound, just not high range.

No experience with them on a Chevy, but Dynomax on Mustangs and Jeeps give a nice sound with slight rumble and no raspy sound or drone.

Talk to Jamie at Flowtek in Mason. He is the exhaust GuRu. He's done several of my cars and will be doing another soon.
